My friend, the Reverend Dawn Fortune, delivered a moving and powerful homily at the Unitarian Universalist General Assembly on why everyone deserves a place at the table.
Many will be surprised that as an atheist I post something like this, but truth, kindness and decency ring true regardless of where they’re spoken.
Please note that among the people Reverend Fortune identifies for inclusion are the kinky and polyamorous among us. How often has a church leader said such words? Not often. Kudos to Reverend Fortune for doing so.
