Seeking Power Exchange Relationship Research Survey Participants
At this year’s CARAS Alternative Sexualities Conference I was asked by Carol Cordier-Carpenter if I could get the word out that she needs more participants for her Power Exchange Relationship Survey. She is looking for people of all sexual orientations involved in committed power exchange relationships of any form (such as dominant and submissive) to complete an anonymous online survey that should take no longer than 30 minutes to complete.
There has been virtually no psychological research conducted on power exchange relationships and the level of satisfaction achieved in these relationships. Carol wants to gather more good data on the subject. I think it’s a worthy survey to participate in. I strong encourage you to participate if you’re in such a relationship.
The survey is totally anonymous. Carol is a psychology graduate student at California State University Stanislaus and the study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board of the Psychology Department at CSU Stanislaus, Turlock, California. If you have any concerns or questions regarding this study, you can email the project supervisor, Dr. Lin Myers or you may call Lauren Gee, Campus Compliance Officer at CSU Stanislaus at 209-667-3747.
I hope you’ll consider contributing to this worthwhile study. It should only take a few minutes of your time and will help to continue to build much needed solid data about the alternative sexualities communities.
